An Introduction to Air Conditioning System for Homes
Air Conditioning System
We live in a country with various weather conditions in each part of it. Because USA is the 3rd biggest country in the world. Therefore, it has been a long time that we have been using air conditioning systems in our homes. Some of us use air conditioning in colder areas to make our home warmer and some in hot areas to make it colder. But the main task of air conditioning is providing a pleasant temperature that suits our preference. In this article we will explain the following points to get a better insight about Air Condition Systems:
- Definition of Air Conditioning and How Does it Work
- Manual and Automatic Air Conditioning
- Overview of the cost of Air Conditioning
1. Definition of Air Conditioning and How Does it Work
Many of us may have seen the symbol ‘AC’ or ‘A/C’ in some places including our cars. Because AC or A/C stands for Air Conditioning. We usually use AC in warm closed areas like our homes or cars to decrease the temperature and get rid of the heat and particles. Although its function seems pretty straight forward like absorbing the hot air and then diffusing cold air out, but there are more procedures in between that will be explained. An interesting fact is that air conditioning has being used since ancient Egyptian times, but by very rudimentary methods. The modern systems were first invented in 1902 by Willis Carrier. The new AC systems contain a fluid inside that can be water or air. During the procedure this liquid will be cooled down by another fluid. It happens when the other fluid evaporates, it needs the warmth of the objects in nearby to get the required energy to be evaporated. Therefore it makes the warm liquid or air cold. During these procedures gas converts into liquid and vice versa for many times . This is the reason you would see a disposed water coming out of the air conditioning systems.
2. Manual and Automatic Air Conditioning
Manual air conditioning does not need a control system to turn on or off the system. The user should turn it on when needing fresh air. Also the intensity of the fan speed and temperature should be set by user. However, in automatic AC systems, thermostat should be used as a control system that can compare the temperature of the environment to the desired temperature being set by the user. In this system, the user should only set the desired temperature and the system itself will define the intensity of the fan and coldness of the output air. These systems are ideal for smart homes and also they are more convenient as it can be set before going to sleep and does not need to wake up to change the intensity or turning it off.
3. Overview of the cost of Air Conditioning
As it was explained in previous section, only by choosing a manual or automatic AC system, many features as well as many components will vary. So their price will vary depending on many factors. Also their installation, maintenance and service would also affect the final price. As till now we get a good view of AC systems, in the next article, we will explain the various types of AC systems. Besides, our Xingman team is always there for you to guide you to find the best AC system that meets your requirements.
